About: The Pine Valley Substation covers an area of approximately 400 square miles. The area is a rural community with many outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, fishing and horseback riding. The Pine Valley substation has a satellite office located Eastern San Diego along the Mexican border. This satellite office serves an area with population close to 2,000 residents of the communities of Boulevard and Jacumba.
