About: The Twin Peaks Station is located in the "most urbanized" forest in the world. The area of the San Bernardino National Forest is home to close to 35,000 residents and it swells to over 85,000 because it is a popular resort and recreation destination. The station has 17 sworn deputies, 2 detectives, 5 sergeants and 1 captain. The department has a Marine Enforcement Team that patrols Lake Arrowhead and Lake Silverwood. Through the Off Highway Vehicle Team they are able to patrol the remote forest areas. The station also provides Citizens on Patrol, Search and Rescue, Sheriff's Reserves and Explorer Scouts. The mission of the Twin Peaks station is to provide the highest level of service to residents and visitors alike and to make the mountain communities a safe and healthy environment.
