About: The City of Twentynine Palms contracts with the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department for law enforcement services. The station has 14 officers providing service to the community. They provide many services including registrant compliance sweeps, traffic safety checkpoints, school resource officers, sting operations and a Off-Highway Vehicle Enforcement Team to patrol the back roads for safety. Two million tourists visit the Morongo Basin each year, with most people visiting the Joshua Tree National Park.
