San Bernardino County Probation Department

The San Bernardino County Probation Department oversees approximately 20,000 adult offenders and 3,500 youth offenders.  They work toward the goal of maintaining an effective balance between the enforcement of laws and court orders and the treatment of the causes of delinquency and criminal conduct.  The Department's mission is to protect the community through assessment, treatment and control of adult and juvenile offenders by providing a range of effective services based on legal requirements and recognized professional standards.
