About: The Harbor Division LAPD is located at the entrance of the Port of Los Angeles, the busiest port in the Western Hemisphere. They ensure the safe passage for all those who live and work in the area. The Harbor Area has a population of 171,000 and encompasses 27 square miles. It is the largest area in the South Bureau. There are four distinct communities that are fall under the enforcement of the Harbor Division: San Pedro, Wilmington, Harbor City and the Harbor Gateway.
