California Highway Patrol - San Gorgonio Pass Office

Areas Served:  Banning, Beaumont, cabazon, Hemet, San Jacinto, Winchester, Aguanga, Anza and Idyllwild.  They cover 860 square miles of Riverside County.

About:  The office is referred to by many as "San G."  The office is staffed with a captain, 1 lieutenant, 5 sergeants and 42 officers.  They also have 3 Resident Post officers who serve the mountain communities.  Their goal is to keep the community safe on the road, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and throughout the years. This area is constantly experiencing danger of fire in the mountains and hills and also in the winter they have icy, hazardous roadways.
